Invitation to Alumni Parents of the Sultan's School

Dear Alumni Parents of the Sultan's School,

The newly formed Alumni Association of the Sultan's School would like to cordially invite you and your children to an Alumni "Fair Day" on Friday 15 January 2010 to recall those nostalgic moments in our previous lives where we actually participated in a sporting activity once a year.

Join us for a day of fun and reminiscing. Activities will provided for children of all ages. Refreshments will be available and fun games and sports will be organized for both parents and children (separately and together). A wonderful opportunity to reconnect with old friends and meet your children's new friends!

The current members of the Alumni Association have made it their mission to reach out to alumni of the Sultan's School in order to develop our alumni network into a fully functional body working alongside the school in achieving its strategic goals.

We believe that alumni parents should be the first group of alumni to respond to our call, and have therefore organized this event to specifically target this portion of our alumni who have dual roles, and thus dual responsibilities.

We anticipate this event to be the first in a series of developments to bring together our alumni socially and eventually on a more substantial level. We decided that our first event should involve both our alumni and their children to bring to the forefront the main goal we are trying to achieve; our integral and meaningful involvement with the school's future plans in order for our children to have an equivalent if not better experience than our years at the Sultan's School.

We look forward to seeing you at the Field day as a first step in what we hope will culminate in a fruitful process, that will both strengthen our role as alumni, and support our children in their learning environment as an integral part of the school.
