Kindergarten News
Welcome to all our students and their families.

It is a very exciting time for KG students and staff as we explore our new building and the opportunities it opens up for us all. There are five bright, airy classrooms, a Performing Arts Room, a Library where parents can join us at the beginning and end of the day and a Kitchen for cooking. In our extensive grounds work is being carried out in preparation for the installation of our brand new play equipment.

We welcome five new members of staff. Our receptionist, Mrs. Zahida Al-Zadjali is on hand to help parents and visitors. Miss Muna Al- Balushi has been teaching in Al Khanssaa School in Ghubra. When she’s not working she enjoys sport. Sarah Borthwick is from Scunthorpe in England but has most recently been working in Germany. She is a keen sailor and basket ball player. Mrs. Judith Jones is from Wrexham in North Wales where she has been working as a teacher alongside her husband, Ian Jones, our new Head of Primary. She has three children who keep her very busy during her free time. Mrs. Soad Rahman joins us from Al Qurum Private School. She enjoys reading and exploring the Internet. They bring with them a wealth of experience and ideas from which we will all benefit.

Among the exciting developments has been the introduction of a KG uniform. The students looked smart so and colourful that teachers all wanted a t-shirt too!
