The Sultan's School Green Beans went on a trip to the Sultan Qaboos University Botanical Gardens on Sunday the 18/12/05. These are the only gardens of this type in the entire Middle East and showcase plants (some of them very rare) growing in arid and semi arid conditions. The visit was hugely informative and educational and our sincere thanks go to Dr. Anita at the university. We heard some fascinating information about the medicinal, social and cultural uses of plants growing in this region.
