change in The Sultan's School Boarding Department |
A
new staff Boarding Team is now in place. Mr. Andrew Taylor has taken
over the role of Head of Boarding. He is ably supported by two members
from the previous team. Mr. Mohammed Mustafa in the position of
Second in Department and Mr. Saud Zidjali remains in the position
of Boarding Supervisor. Two new members of the team are Mr. Russell
Croft and Mr. Owen. September Trips and Visits The new team has been busy. The annual Boarders Barbeque was well attended with well over 50 members of staff and family attending. |

 On
their first trip of the year, the Boarders visited Nizwa Fort and
then Tanuf Wadi. A good time was had by one and all. |
| Later
this year Scouting is being introduced into the Boarding Department, led by Mr. Saud. Mr. Russell is leading CAS opportunities within the Dorm and Mr. Owen is coordinating International Award Activities. Many camping trips and visits are planned for the forthcoming year. Both students and staff are relishing the challenges of this exciting new phase of The Sultan's School Boarding Department. |

will be a reunion of Alumni on Saturday 23rd December 2006 at
19:30 at the school. Ms. Layla Darwish will be coordinating the
event. Please tell as many ex-students as you can.
