I would like to take this opportunity to introduce to you the new Heads of Year and the system of The Heads of Year Department. This system aims to improve communication between school and parents so we can work together to resolve issues and give advice.

The Heads of Year are:
Mrs. Fatma Tarawna Head of Year grade 6 & 7 Room Green Block 3
Miss Rebecca Lodwig Head of Year grade 8 Room Green Block 3
Mrs. Yvonne Castello Head of Year grade 9 & 10 Room Green Block 2
Mr. Paul Cooper Head of Year grade 11 & 12 Room Green Block2

Their role involves the monitoring of all students both academically and pastorally and should provide help, encouragement and advice during the many changes in their school career. The students now have an open door to their Heads of Year to discuss problems, issues, ideas, and The Student Council gives them an opportunity to participate in debates and in decision making. All Heads of Year will be meeting with student representatives to discuss issues of concern

I am pleased to see so many students taking part in different areas and willing to take on responsibilities such as Class Representatives, Prefect Duties, Student Council etc.

Finally I would like to encourage all parents to be in contact with their relevant Head of Year for any issue, which might concern your child.
