Celebrating National Day was a festive occasion for the Elementary School where the students put together a show expressing their joy, pride and love of their country. It was presented to their parents and secondary school students over two consecutive days.

The Assembly started with a live rendition of the National Anthem followed by Grade 5 students who sang and waved flags with military precision. Grade 2 students told us in English why they love Oman. A graceful Dhofari dance by Grade 4 followed. Grade 6 presented very eloquentely the various Governorates in the Sultanate. Students from Grade 5 wrote and read their essays about Oman. A colorful Omani dress fashion show was elegantly presented by very confident Grade 4 students. The show ended with an impressive Grades 3 and 4 song. All this hard work by students and their teachers met with enthusiastic applause from the audience.
